You're invited to a Charter School Board Training on Thursday, November 6th from 6:00–8:00 PM at Strong Foundations Charter School, 715 Riverwood Drive, Pembroke, NH offered both in person and Zoom.

6:00–6:30 PM: Dinner & Networking
6:30–8:00 PM: Professional Development Session
This basic board training will focus on good governance—an essential foundation for effective and compliant charter school leadership. Come ready with your questions!
Our presenter, Barrett Christina, has been with the New Hampshire School Boards Association (NHSBA) since 2005, serving as Staff Attorney, Director of Policy Services, and Deputy Executive Director before being named Executive Director in July 2017. Barrett is a 2004 graduate of UNH School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center).
Executive Directors and school leaders are encouraged to attend with their board members.
📋 Reminder: Charter schools are asked to report on board training in their annual report and charter renewals, so this session is a great opportunity to fulfill that requirement while strengthening your team’s governance skills.
